Consultation & Training
Specialist consultation to care homes in relation to distress in dementia and behaviour that those around them are finding challenging. Working with staff, the family and the person living with dementia to develop an understanding about the person’s life and the current challenges. This involves identifying why the behaviours and distress might be happening, and generating recommendations for the staff (and person, if appropriate).

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST)
Individual cognitive stimulation therapy for individuals with mild to moderate symptoms of dementia. CST is an evidence-based treatment for dementia, recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE). It can slow cognitive decline and enhance wellbeing.
